How the two approaches differ
Scores
Both products summarise a company in a number from 0 to 100. DeepTicker's score combines five fundamental dimensions — value, growth, track record, profitability and solvency — and DeepTicker states that it compares metrics against each company's industry where the data allows. Acutic's composite combines seven sub-scores with weight presets that differ by strategy, and the methodology page publishes every input, weight and hard filter. Neither score is a statement about future returns; both companies say so on their own pages.
Analysis on a single company
DeepTicker organises a company into a profile of 120+ metrics with a valuation label of "demanding", "reasonable" or "potentially at a discount". Acutic's research reports come from five AI analyst agents whose outputs are shown side by side rather than merged into one label; that feature is built and activating soon.
Portfolio and decision records
DeepTicker tracks trades entered by hand and compares the portfolio with an equivalent S&P 500 investment over the same dates. Acutic builds a portfolio from broker export files (see supported brokers and import formats) and keeps a trade journal of what was decided and why; a review of the decision process at 7, 30, 90, 180 and 365 days is built and activating soon.
Practice and investor data
DeepTicker runs a free competition with $50,000 in virtual cash on US stocks and ETFs, and its Premium plan includes 13F portfolios of large investors and trades disclosed by US members of Congress. Neither of these is among the features Acutic lists.
